It all started when...

Greg Dolan, the founder and owner of Seacoast Specialty Marine, started sailing and working on boats at the age of seven. He was mentored by his father, Francis Dolan (Star World Champion), Joe Duplin (Star World Champion, Rolex Yachtsman) at Duplin Marine and Dave Curtis (9x World Champion, 3x Rolex Yachtsman) at Curtis Boats. He learned his craft from the best. Having found his passion and competitive spirit early, Greg won the Turner Boat Nationals at the age of eight and the Massachusetts High School State Championship at the age of 17. Greg went on to spend 12 years on the US Sailing team competing around the globe with the best sailors in the word. He won World, European, National and Regional championship races and regattas in multiple one-design classes. He served as Executive Director of Boston's Community Boating; developed and opened Piers Park Sailing for MassPort; served on the board, the community sailing committee and training committee for US Sailing and coached collegiate sailing at Salem State. These 45 plus years of mentorship, training, competition and boat maintenance combined with a passion for boating and sharing his love of the water shows. He's mastered the art of boat performance, repair and maintenance. He knows simple is fast. He emphasizes how boat performance all starts below the waterline.
